George H. Conrades
George Conrades is currently Executive Chairman of Akamai Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQGS:AKAM), where he has occupied senior management positions since 1999. Prior to Akamai, Mr. Conrades was executive vice president and president of GTE Internetworking, as well as CEO of BBN Corporation (which helped build ARPANET, forerunner to the Internet). Mr. Conrades serves on the Board of Directors for Harley-Davidson, Cardinal Health, BBN Technologies and Microbia. He is also a venture partner at Polaris Venture Partners, an early stage investment company.
Sara Levinson
Currently, Ms Levinson serves on the boards of Harley Davidson, Inc; Macys, Inc and KickApps. Ms. Levinson was the Non Executive Chairman of ClubMom,inc an internet-based consumer relationship company. Ms. Levinson previously served as President of the Women's Group of Rodale, Inc. the world's leading publisher of information on healthy, active liefesyles; as Chairman and CEO of ClubMom, Inc.; as President of NFL Properties, Inc. a licensing, sponsorship and marketing arm of the National Football League; and as President and Business Director of MTV:Music Television.
Kara Nortman - Vice President, Mergers & Acquisitions, IAC
Ms. Nortman is Vice President of Mergers and Acquisitions for IAC/InterActiveCorp. In this role, she is responsible for identifying, recommending and executing corporate mergers, acquisitions, investments and divestitures, as well as executing cross-company business development projects. Previously, Ms. Nortman worked for Battery Ventures from 1999 to 2002 and again from 2004 to 2006. During that time, Ms. Nortman focused on investments in the Internet, communications and new media sectors. She was previously involved with The NewsMarket, Spot Runner, The Loan Page (acquired by HouseValues), EnvoyWorldWide (acquired by PAR3 Communications), Kashya (acquired by EMC), and Cbeyond Communications (Nasdaq: CBEY).
Ms. Nortman has held a position in Microsoft’s corporate development group, where she evaluated product strategies in the gaming, healthcare and mobile markets. She has also worked in the Private Equity Group at Morgan Stanley Dean Witter where she analyzed investment opportunities in telecommunications for a $1.9 billion private equity fund. Ms. Nortman holds an AB in political science from Princeton University and an MBA from Stanford University.
